As we revealed last month, Guidetti has his pick of clubs to choose from with regards going out on loan in January.
And the Swedish striker is poised to disappoint a number of British-based clubs by making a six-month switch to Real Betis.
Guidetti has impressed both the manager and Txiki Begiristain by stating a real desire to play at Betis, as he feels the Spanish style of play will allow him to assimilate better to City’s own set-up when he does return to the Etihad.
Guidetti has also been told great things about living and working in Seville by both Navas and Negredo, which has further helped towards his thinking.
The one remaining sticking point is Guidetti’s £20,000 a week wages.
Betis are hoping they can come to a gratis agreement which will lead to cementing a closer working relationship between them and City when it comes to sharing talent in the future.
