Early Newcastle booster


It might still be off the radar for most, with upcoming Cup games against Blackburn Rovers and West Ham United over the next week.

But our chances of another win at St James’ Park, when the Premier League resumes, have been handed a timely booster following the straight red card Mathieu Debuchy received against West Brom on New Year’s Day.

The right-back has been one of Newcastle’s best players this season and will now miss the next three games.

If ever there was a game for our man Jesus to be invited to walk on water…
